Waves of heat
shimmer above a deserted two-lane pike snaking through the
rural Tennessee countryside. At the edge of the road a
blinking neon sign welcomes road-weary travelers. The Shamrock
Motor Inn appears pleasant enough, but look deeper.
Things are not always as they seem.

If you stop,
chances are you will be greeted by Kate Bender, a sultry,
dark-haired siren. Don't be fooled by her innocent
charm. This seductive beauty serves up more than cool
refreshment to beat the heat or a soft bed for the night.
You can be sure she's sized you up in the twinkling of an eye and
knows just what she can take you for. Perhaps watching
you from a table in the corner is John Bender, a teenage
sociopath. He and his sister are formidable rivals playing
against each other for your attention, your money and anything
else you might have. You can bet William Bender, the
ruthless patriarch of this cunning family of scam artists is
nearby. His friendly demeanor belies an artful schemer who, in
an instant, can turn.

So if you are
passing through this peaceful looking valley, you best keep
going. For in a place where the good guys and the villains
change places as easily as a game of musical chairs, you'll be
wondering who the victims really are in this twisted tale of lies
and betrayal.

It's 1948 in the small town
of Caney Fork. Nothing is realy what it seems in this peaceful
setting. Look deeper.
